University of the Philippines


The University of the Philippines is the premier institution of higher learning in the country. Its main campus in Diliman, Quezon City sits on more than 90 hectares of wooded land. It attracts the brightest students from all over the country and prides itself as a bastion of intellectual freedom, leadership, and excellence.

Considered by Filipinos to be the 8th Wonder of the World, the Banaue Rice Terraces are over 3,000 years old. The terraces have been listed as one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites.
